Shea is one of our newest recruits. Her parents called us because she’s having a tough time transitioning to city life. Shea has spent almost her entire life morning till night, free to run and play on a very large property out in the country. Shea gets extraordinarily nervous around just about anything because everything and anything is new and a bit scary to her. Our runs with her are helping her calm down. We also start and finish each of our 30 minute runs calmly observing all of the crazy things she encounters in her environment, like homeless people playing knuckles on the canal, cars, bikes, motorcycles, and other dogs… Who She barks at like there is no tomorrow. Shea is absolutely beautiful and we can’t wait to see how she’s doing in couple of weeks from now.
